This most westerly section of the Trans Canada Trail in Manitoba will lead you from Madge Lake (near the Saskatchewan Border), through the Duck Mountain Provincial Forest, the Goose Lakes down to Roblin, along the shores of Lake
of the Prairies, past Asessippi Ski Area & Winter Park, to Bear Creek Valley and the historic grain elevators at Inglis and finally to the town of Russell. The trail features many scenic vistas through forests, valleys, and long cultivated areas.
